I could do my laundry at home. Why should I drop my pants with Got Laundry?

Sure, you could do laundry at home. The average American spends nine hours a week doing laundry! But don’t you have better things to do? Take the kids to the shore—or do laundry. You decide. And because we’re laundry experts, when you drop your pants with Got Laundry?, we won’t shrink them, bake in the stains, or let them get wrinkled like you do. So why not get better-looking clothes and more precious free time?

How long does it take?

Our standard turnaround time is just two days for wash-and-fold and three days for dry cleaning. For alterations turnaround time is two weeks.

How will I be billed?

Billing will execute upon signup and will be processed monthly. No credit card information is stores in-house by Got Laundry? and payments will be processed through Stripe. We will email you a detailed invoice each time your card is billed. You can also receive invoice totals by text. Overage will be invoiced, emailed, and payment will be required upon receipt.

Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express cards(fees may apply).

Is there a delivery charge?

There are no pickup or delivery fees.

Should I send my own detergent, what brands do you use? I need hypo-allergic detergent.

Got Laundry? uses leading laundry detergent brands. We use brands with the hypo-allergic seal and fragrant free. However, if you would like us to use a special detergent, you can drop your detergent in your laundry bag and make a special instructions note when scheduling. We will return any unused detergent with your drop-off.

I missed my pick up day. Is there a missed pickup fee?

We’ve put in place email and text reminder tools to help make sure you don’t forget. 

Is there any contract or long-term commitment?

No. We ask that you sign up for a minimum of 4 weeks when beginning the Got Laundry? services. You can pause for vacation at any time. However, 2 consecutive weeks of pausing will result in cancelation of your subscription and a cancelation fee of $125. How often can I change or update my laundry profile?

As often as you like. Some of our customers tweak their profile prior to every pickup because they have special instructions for us. Other customers set up their preferences when creating their account and then rarely change them.

What’s in the Welcome Kit?

The Welcome Kit consists of the number of laundry bags sufficient for your chosen membership plan. Red or White (For sensitive skin), one mesh bag for delicates, we may hand deliver separately, a black garment bag dry cleaning (if applicable) and a welcome card.

What if I am not home when you pick up and deliver?

No problem. Just leave the laundry somewhere we can access it or make arrangements with your doorman or super to let our driver in. Just be aware that you’re responsible for the security of your items (see the fine print for the details) and then log into your account and edit your Pickup/Delivery Instructions. Many customers have us leave their laundry at their back door or in a foyer if they are not home. Whenever possible, please select a drop-off site that’s protected from the elements.

When will my laundry be picked up and returned?

That depends on your neighborhood. We make every effort to build our routes to make sure you have a consistent and convenient pickup/drop-off time.

Is there any way that Got Laundry? could remind me to leave my laundry out for pickup?

Sure. We send all of our customer’s email and text reminders 24 hours before scheduled pickups.

I forgot to leave my laundry out on pick up day. What should I do?

Contact Customer Service by calling 215-930-2353 or email If our drivers are still in your area, we will make every effort to arrange for a pickup.

Could you pick up and deliver to my place of work?

Absolutely! As long as it is within our areas of service. Many of our customers have Got Laundry? pickup and deliver to their workplace. Just specify in your laundry preferences the pickup and delivery details. We also offer Got Laundry? work perks! A low cost way for your company to show their employees they care. This program is built to add an employee benefit while increasing productivity, freeing your employees from ever doing laundry again. Recommend us to your employer or HR manager and get an entire month free of our service, up to our Gold package (Not to be combined with any other discount and company must sign up for service). Where is laundry left for pickup/drop-off?

We recommend that your pickup/drop-off location be protected from the elements if possible. Most customers have us leave their laundry on a front or back porch, in a garage or with their building manager. We also use common sense and watch the weather. If a hurricane or blizzard is coming, we’ll contact you and make alternate plans. In case of inclement weather all orders are enclosed in a weather protective plastic bag.

If there’s severe weather and the roads are unsafe will my laundry be returned on time?

However rare this is, it can happen. If there is a storm or other natural occurrences, we will return your laundry to you as soon as it’s safe to for our drivers to do so. We will keep you updated to any changes via phone, email and/or text.

Can I put my pickups on hold while I’m on vacation or out of town?

If you’re going to be away just log into your account and place your account on “Vacation Hold” until you return.

Can I get texts as well as, or instead of, emails?

Absolutely. Just log into your account and adjust your notification settings.

What happens if I have special instructions one week?

Simple. Just log in to your account and update your Laundry Preferences adding a note in the “Laundry Instructions” or “Folding Instructions” field. Our employees check your personal laundry profile for any changes every time they process your laundry.

Are you going to throw my stuff in with some stranger’s dirty underwear? Because that’s kind of nasty.

Your laundry is personal! We keep it that way. We wash, dry, and fold your clothes separately.

What happens if you lose/damage some garments?

While we are known for our high quality care, mistakes can happen. If we lose or damage an article please notify customer service within 48 hours of the laundry being returned to you. Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for laundry that is lost or damaged by the weather after it’s dropped off at your home. Please review the terms and conditions for more details.
